Why Most Snoring Pillows Don't Help Much
When Professor Vik Veer reviewed snoring pillows on his YouTube channel in April 2022, he found that most were only designed for neck support. But sleeping comfortably on your side requires solving a whole range of issues beyond just neck support.
He made the decision to make a better pillow.

Proven by a Decade of Sleep Endoscopy Research
After years of performing drug-induced sleep endoscopy (DISE) in sleep apnoea patients, Vik Veer discovered that the Recovery Position (almost face down) is the most effective posture for keeping the airway open.
Unlike back sleeping, which allows the tongue to fall backward and block the throat, the recovery position shifts the tongue and soft palate forward, helping to reduce snoring and ease sleep apnoea naturally.

First-Hand Experience
To fully understand the challenges side sleepers face, Professor Vik Veer slept on his side for weeks. With first-hand experience, he uncovered a range of common issues:
- Ear pain
- Neck and Spinal discomfort
- Numb Arm & Shoulder pain
- Hip pain (bursitis).
These insights directly informed the design of the Side Sleeping Pro ensuring it allows for comfortable and restorative sleep.

How The Side Sleeping Pro Can Help You

85.7% Snore Less (click to learn more)
In a study of 6044 sleep studies it was found that 85.7% of people snored less and had at least a 20% reduction in sleep apnoea when they slept on their side.
60.3% had their sleep apnoea & snoring cured from sleeping on their side.
Sleep in the Recovery Position
The Recovery position is a first-aid technique used to help an unconscious person breathe more easily and prevent airway obstruction. It involves placing them on their side with their head slightly tilted back, ensuring their airway remains open and clear.
How It Works:
- Prevents the tongue from blocking the throat – When lying on their back, the tongue can fall backward and obstruct breathing. The recovery position makes the tongue drop forward out of the way. This allows you to sleep without snoring or blocking your breathing.
- Supports breathing – The slight tilt of the head and body alignment ensures air can flow freely into the lungs. This restores the body with oxygen and allows restful deep sleep.
No more pain in your shoulder or arms
Sleeping on your side applies pressure your shoulder causing pain.
This also stops a loss of circulation to your arm which gives you that pins and needles sensation in your hands.
The Side Sleeping Pro prevents placing pressure on the shoulder to allow you sleep comfortably on your side all night.
In this way you can sleep on your side or in the recovery position all night without needing to roll on to your back to recover the the circulation in your arm or ease the pain in your shoulder (which is the main reason people keep doing this)
Nasal Breathing without needing mouth tape.
The Side Sleeping Pro gently closes the mouth and encourages you to breathe through your nose without the need for mouth tape or chin straps.
This is a much safer way of nasal breathing. If you use mouth tape there is a risk as it forcibly blocks your mouth. If you were to vomit at night or your nose becomes blocked at night, you could suffer serious harm - hence why doctors do not recommend mouth tape.
Using the Side Sleeping Pro to encourage you to breathe through your nose at night without risk, is a far safer method of gaining the benefits of nasal breathing.
Cushions your hip to reduce pain
Hip pain and Bursitis is a common problem in those who sleep on their side. It leads to pain and difficulty in walking in the morning and stops you from sleeping on your side at night.
The Side Sleeping Pro provides plenty of support for your hip to allow you to sleep comfortably on your side all night, every night.
Allows Sleep in the SUPERMAN Flying Position
Using the curvature of the body pillow, you can sleep in the SUPERMAN position (one arm up and one arm down).
This is similar to the recovery position with the same benefits as the tongue and the palate are still dropping forward out of the way reducing snoring and sleep apnoea.
Reduces Reflux
Because the body pillow is set at an incline, it is harder for acid from the stomach to go up into your throat.
The effect of gravity keeps stomach contents where it should be rather than ending up waking you up and night. It might mean you can reduce the need for antacids or tablets.
Allows Sleep in the SKY DIVING Position
Sleeping with both arms up is what Professor Veer calls the Sky Diving Position.
It is like sleeping on a massage table and means that you are sleeping with your face straight down into the pillow. This is the most effective way of keeping your tongue from obstructing your throat.
This is the only pillow that allows you to do this, all night, comfortably.
Supports the Spine
Orthopaedic specialists often recommend sleeping on your back because it places the spine in a neutral, evenly supported position. This alignment minimises pressure points, helps maintain natural curvature, and reduces the risk of shoulder, hip, and lower back strain. Side sleeping, especially without proper support, can lead to spinal twisting and uneven weight distribution, causing neck, shoulder, and hip discomfort over time.
Engineered to Support the Spine, Even in the Recovery Position
The Side Sleeping Pro was developed to overcome these challenges. Its ergonomic design provides full-body support that aligns the spine even in the Recovery position, Superman flying position or the SkyDiving position.
By carefully distributing pressure across key contact zones, it helps prevent twisting and compression. Whether you're managing sleep apnoea or simply seeking better rest, the Side Sleeping Pro lets you sleep in the most clinically effective posture without compromising spinal health.

75% of People Snore More When They Sleep On Their Back
Snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea are more than just night time nuisances; they have real impacts on health, relationships, and overall quality of life. Approximately 57% of men and 40% of women snore regularly, and for those whose snoring is loud enough to be heard through closed doors, up to 70% may have significant obstructive sleep apnoea. This condition, if left untreated, doesn't just cause daytime fatigue and irritability; it can lead to serious health issues like hypertension and heart disease. In the workplace, individuals with untreated sleep apnoea are about 2.46 times more likely to experience involuntary job loss and 92% of those with the condition report that it affects their work performance. Furthermore, sleep apnoea can impact personal relationships and intimacy, with around 23% of men experiencing reduced libido. Addressing snoring and sleep apnoea can help improve not just your sleep, but your overall well-being and relationships.
Snoring is the top reason couples sleep separately, a phenomenon called 'sleep divorce', affecting about 35% of Americans.
